Please pray for us as we minister in Alaska for the next month:

· For God's Anointing upon His Word & for the H. S. to move in every service.
Souls to surrender to Christ & lives to be transformed by God.

Dear Friends,

Sara and I have just returned from China where we were the recipients of God's grace and mercy through your prayers. Our small team lived in a cocoon of grace and covering due to your prayers. For this, we are ever thankful to our Almighty God. We found China much more orderly than the Former Soviet Union. Craftsmanship being exemplarary at every turn. The roads and transportation were flawless and I have never in my life seen a more beautiful airport than Terminal 2 in Beijing International Airport.

All is not rosy however, as the propaganda machine of their nation would have you believe. On the downside, the pastor who came to the airport in Xining, Sara's birth place, was questioned after he departed from us for meeting us at the airport. We were allowed to sing with the choir but were not allowed to speak in any of the churches that we visited. As we sang some of the old hymns of the Church like, "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art", we could both identify from our diversity of cultures, the common ground of the Blood of Jesus Christ making us one.

Salty tears coursed down our cheeks in worship and in gratitude. For a few fleeting moments, cultural and language distinctions blurred as we worshipped Jesus together. In the presence of Christ there is no language barrier and no borders between our belief's in the finished work of Calvary. I was allowed to pray collectively for the Body of Christ in China and here again the Holy Spirit's presence punctuated our gathering as we cried out to the same Living God.

We confirmed our Bible distribution and came to the conclusion after talking to the leadership that our 1.3 million New Testaments, Psalms and Proverbs have met the need of an immediate area. Their emphasis and cry seemed to be that of being taught the Word, especially in a systematic format that would raise leadership in their Church Body. We left several dozen "Fire Bibles" on DVD which will be duplicated hundreds of times over, providing a four year Bible school curriculum for the entirety of Scripture. This DVD and CD format is far more cost effective in spreading the Gospel and teaching the people. This only costs 20 cents for the complete Bible with its four year course which in turn can be replicated hundreds of times over by anybody who can burn a CD or DVD off their computer.

The need for the printed version of the Scripture and the CD, DVD version of the Scripture need to work side by side as computer availability is not always prevalent. Therefore, it is our goal at IMPACT MINISTRIES to work both with the PRINTED PAGE OF THE WORD OF GOD and the DVD version. Help us concerning these matters by your prayers and your continued giving for the Chinese Scripture programs.

Thank you for your present sacrificial giving and please remember IMPACT MINISTRIES during Thanksgiving and Christmas Season, especially since the economic crisis has reduced our budget base to one third of its normal level. We need your fervent prayers and financial miracles to break even as we close the 2008 Calendar Year. We are calling on you personally to help us. We and praying for God's blessing upon you and your obedience.
